Pilots dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Alvark 's 48. They outrebounded Alvark 58-27 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pilots players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American-Taiwanese power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) chipped in 26 points and 11 rebounds. Four Pilots players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Marcus Foster (191-1995, college: Creighton) responded with 21 points and Spanish Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
